What will the newsletter Watanabe Zensen be like?

The newsletter (which means "Watanabe Front" in English) will be issued in English at first, bi-monthly. It is likely to remain bi-monthly, because movies are longer-time projects. We hope to be able to offer a Japanese version soon.

When will the first newsletter be issued?

The first issue will be the November/December 2005 issue. I am not postive on an issue date yet, but please allow some extra time for it to reach you if you are outside the U.S., especially if you live in an area where mail service is not reliable.

How do I join the fan-club message boards, The Front?

Once you recieve your Membership Card, or you recieve your MemberID via email, simply visit The Front and create an account. Make sure you write down your Screenname! Then email the fan-club President with your Screenname, full (real) name, and MemberID. You will be added to the hidden group.

When will I get my Membership Card?

You will recieve it with your first newsletter issue. If you signed up through PayPal or included your email on the mail-in form, I can email your ID# as soon as your order is processed, so you can access Members-only web features.

How long will it take to process my fan-club membership?

That depends. If you pay via PayPal, I get the money quickly. If you mail it in, it takes longer to arrive. Money orders and traveler's checks will clear as soon as I deposit them, but personal checks (for those in the U.S.) will take longer. Add an additional 1-2 weeks for me to actually process your membership and mail it to you, especially while key components of the website are still being built (there are only so many hours in the day). Besides, it will not be mailed seperately from your newsletter.

When does my membership need to be renewed?

Generally, the renewal date is 1 year from when I physically make your Membership card (it will be on your membership card). However, anyone who joins before January 31, 2005 will have their renewal date set as January 31, 2006...you get some extra time.

Why can I only order 1 Keytag with my membership?

Because it would be crazy to charge you up to $19 shipping for a Keytag that is only worth a few bucks. It will be mailed with your 1st issue of Watanabe Zensen, because it is light enough not to affect the postage. That is why you can only get 1.

What if I already ordered my membership before the Keytag was offered?

Just order it by itself...during the checkout process, type me a little note that you already joined...and it will be sent with your next issue of Watanabe Zensen.

How can I pay?

It depends where you live. Everyone can use PayPal. As long as you have a credit card, you don't even need to have an account with them. Or, you can mail in your order. Payment types accepted with mail-in orders depend on where you live. If you live outside the U.S., your options are International Money Order (probably available at your bank or post office) or American Express Traveler's Check. If you live in the U.S., you can use a Money Order, Personal Check, American Express Travler's Check, or a Bank/Cashier's Check.
