About the Fan Club

Members will recieve the bi-monthly newsletter Watanabe Zensen, with information about Ken, reviews of his past performances and much more. If you have good English-to-Japanese translation skills and a computer, and are willing to translate each issue into Japanese, please . A free 1-yr membership will be complimentary. In the near future, KWWF T-shirts will be available. T-shirts will not be included in membership because of international mailing costs...it would discourage people from joining.

You will recieve a Membership Card after your payment has cleared...please allow extra mailing time if you live outside the United States. If you have a spouse, their Membership Card is no extra charge. Each individual will have their own I.D. number.

All members can create an account at The Front, the fan-club Message Board. Most forums are open to KWWF Members only, but the "Annoucements" forum is readable by all visitors. If you are a KWWF Member, all you need to do is create an account, then email the fan-club President with your Screenname, full (real) name, and MemberID...then I can add you to the hidden group.

The 1st annual KWWF fan-club party will be held in the U.S., tentatively June 2005. Meet "Kenfans" from many countries, screen some of Ken's famous movies and TV dramas, and participate in some fun activities with like-minded people! There is a thread started about the fan-club party on IMDb.com...feel free to share your ideas and offer suggestions. Our hope is that Watanabe-san could attend as our "guest of honor", meet many of his international fans in person, and participate in a fun "question-and-answer" session with us. No guarantees that this will happen, but we're working on it!
